Maruf Yusuf has a diverse work experience in marketing and digital strategy, with a focus on catering to the Muslim market. Maruf started their career as the CEO of Halal.Ad, a marketing agency and consulting firm for Muslim brands and companies. Maruf then ventured into the entrepreneurial space by founding Cloudy.Email, a cloud-hosted online newsletter and email sending software service.
Maruf also served as the CEO of Ali Huda, a platform offering entertainment and education for Muslim kids. Maruf later co-founded Quran Era, a comprehensive Quran games and reading platform for children aged 4 to 10.
In addition to their entrepreneurial endeavors, Maruf has held various advisory and coaching roles within the Muslim entrepreneurship space. Maruf was a digital strategy/marketing advisor for Sadaqah - Ummah Crowdfunding and GlobalSadaqah, two organizations that focus on Muslim crowdfunding initiatives. Maruf also worked as a digital strategy advisor for MRHB.Network and Sakeenah.
Most recently, Maruf joined Musaffa as the Chief Marketing Officer. At Musaffa, they have played a crucial role in building the world's most accurate Halal Stock & ETF Screener for Muslims by Muslims. Maruf led the marketing team, trained them, and implemented the marketing strategy to position Musaffa as the top destination for halal stock investment needs.

Maruf Yusuf began their education at Aarhus Technical College in 2003, where they obtained a Certificate in Multimedia Design. Maruf then pursued further education at Erhvervsakademi Aarhus | Business Academy Aarhus from 2016 to 2018, focusing on Information Technology. In 2015, they attended the University of Cambridge as part of the Ariane de Rothschild Fellowship, specializing in Cross Cultural Leadership and Innovative Entrepreneurship. Maruf Yusuf later enrolled at Stanford University in 2018, where they are currently studying Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
Furthermore, Maruf Yusuf has also acquired several additional certifications. Maruf completed the Life & Business Coach Training Core 100 program at Tony Robbins in August 2021. In May 2020, they became a certified Tiny Habits Coach through the Tiny Habits Academy. Before that, they obtained the Competent Leader designation from Toastmasters International in 2018, and the Competent Communicator designation in 2017, both of which demonstrate their communication and leadership skills. Additionally, they hold certifications in Conversion Optimization Practitioner from Market Motive - Bryan Eisenberg, Web Analytics from Market Motive - Avinash Kaushik, Inbound Marketing from HubSpot, and Google Analytics from Google, though specific dates of completion are not provided for the latter two certifications.
