Azar Eyvazov

Azar Eyvazov began their work experience as a Visiting Researcher at the National Institute for Advanced Industrial Science and Technology in 2009, and worked there until 2011. From 2010 to 2012, they served as a Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University. In 2012, they joined Cornell University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and later became a Graduate Research Assistant, conducting experiments at low temperatures and maintaining cryostat equipment. Eyvazov also worked as a Visiting Fellow at Cornell University in 2017, where they designed and performed low temperature physics experiments and assisted graduate students with precision measurements. In 2018, they joined Axtria - Ingenious Insights as a Sr. Associate for a brief period before starting at Goldman Sachs as a Validation Quant. At Goldman Sachs, they later transitioned to the role of Strategist at Goldman Sachs Asset Management from 2021 to 2023. Eyvazov currently holds the position of Deputy Chief Financial Officer at HalalBooking starting from April 2023.

Azar Eyvazov completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2006 to 2009. Later, from 2012 to 2017, Eyvazov pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics at Cornell University. Additionally, Eyvazov obtained several certifications, including the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from CFA UK in September 2021, and the Financial Engineering and Risk Management Part II and Part I from Columbia University in the City of New York in May 2020 and April 2020, respectively.
