David Schwed

David Schwed has held a variety of roles in the technology and financial services industries. From 2008 to 2019, they were Co-Founder, General Counsel, and Chief Information Officer of MASS Communications (Acquired by Windstream Enterprise). In 2018, they became Managing Director and Chief Information Security Officer of Galaxy Digital. From 2019 to 2021, they were Global Head of Digital Assets Technology at BNY Mellon. David also held roles as Early Stage Investor and Advisor at Onyxia (2021), Early Stage Investor at block.a (2019) and Asia Connectivity Elements, Inc. (Gateway Network Connections, LLC) (2019), and Chief Information Officer at RTI Cable (2019). In 2019, they also became Practitioner in Residence and Professor and Founding Director of the Cybersecurity Master's Program at Katz School at Yeshiva University. David'smost recent role is Chief Operating Officer at Halborn (2022).

David Schwed obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) - Magna Cum Laude from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business, Economics and Finance from SUNY Empire State College.
