Casper Coetzer

Casper Coetzer is an experienced Chief Engineer at HALCON, leading the Embedded Electronic Systems Group since January 2021, specializing in electronic system engineering, electronic card and FPGA development, and electro-optics support. Prior roles include Senior Engineer in Electro Optics at Saab Grintek Technologies, where expertise in digital design and avionics displays was developed, and Senior Researcher at CSIR focusing on multi-spectral imaging electronics. A proven track record includes positions as Chief Design Engineer at Denel Dynamics, Senior Design Engineer at Flextronics, and various roles in hardware design and engineering at multiple organizations. Casper holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electronics Engineering and is pursuing advanced degrees, including a PhD in Electronics from the University of Pretoria.
