Francis van Ravenswaay

Francis van Ravenswaay currently serves as the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Group at HALCON, responsible for managing and expanding the group's capabilities and resources since February 2019. With extensive experience in engineering, Francis co-founded Raventech CC in 1996, focusing on Computer Aided Engineering, Project Management, and Engineering Design. Previous positions include Professional Engineer at Reutech Solutions, Senior Mechanical Engineer at Palace Consulting Engineers, and Chief Engineer at M-Tech Industrial, among others. Francis has a strong background in structural analysis, having worked on significant projects for the Pebble Bed Modular Reactor and Sasol, and holds a Master of Engineering degree in Finite Element Analysis from North-West University.
