Noemi Florea is the founder and director of LÆRO, an independent design studio focused on developing product-service systems addressing global sustainable development goals. With experience as a contributing writer and associate editor for Downtown Magazine NYC, Noemi specialized in environmental and social justice topics. Previous internships include work at the Renewable Energy Alaska Project, where data visualizations and public communication toolkits were created, and the International Peace Institute, where contributions were made towards climate change programming. Noemi also founded Rockville Piano during high school, teaching piano to children. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Integrated Design, Sustainable Cities from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Economics from The New School.
