Gary Hayslip

Gary Hayslip is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as VP, Senior Security Advisor, and Field CISO at Halcyon since September 2025. Hayslip also holds advisory roles at Praetorian, San Diego State University, Nisos, and serves as a strategic advisor for NightDragon and member of the board at Zimperium, while being a co-founder of CISO DRG Publishing. Former Global Chief Information Security Officer at SoftBank Investment Advisers, Hayslip led cybersecurity initiatives for a multi-billion dollar investment fund. An MBA graduate from San Diego State University, Hayslip has furthered education with a Professional Certificate from Harvard and other certifications from prestigious institutions.
