Kartik Kakarala

Kartik, in his current role as Co-Founder/CEO of Halcyon, is responsible for Sales, Business Development and Innovation, as well as the creation of Technology assets. He has held several senior management roles in Fortune 100 and Big 5 Consulting firms in USA.

Kartik has over twelve years of experience in the IT industry before he co-founded Halcyon. He has extensive breadth of experience as an Executive in the Technology Industry. Kartik has been responsible for developing several systems in the Automotive Industry including CRM, ERP and several financial applications.

While at Halcyon, Kartik has contributed significantly in various capacities to the company’s growth. He has been responsible for the growth of a number of strategic, horizontal competencies, and vertical business units like automotive, utilities and healthcare practices.

Under Kartik’s leadership, Halcyon Co-Founded several state of the art software companies like RedBumper which was used by 1000’s of automotive dealers across N.America’s and later acquired by ADP. Kartik has been the founder for companies like NextGenAuto and ECarTag in the Automotive retail sector currently providing solutions to the Automotive, Powersports, RV and Marine sectors in N.America.

Kartik is recognized for cultivating a culture of over-achievement at Halcyon, enabling “ordinary people to do extraordinary things” via formal mentoring programs, comprehensive attitude and skills development, continuous learning, and a process-centric approach to things. In his current role, Kartik’s understanding of consumer behavior helped drive service innovation and brand enhancement programs for the organization.

Kartik holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from University of Houston.

Beyond his day-to-day responsibilities, Kartik enjoys sports and traveling and keenly involves himself in mentoring budding professionals.
