Srinivas Kakarala

Srinivas is the Co-Founder/COO of Halcyon. In his current role, he sets the direction and roadmap for achieving the organizational objectives. Srinivas’ command over emerging technologies and their application to radically improve efficiency with the existing systems and processes can be aptly termed as industry thought leadership.

As the COO, Srinivas frequently raised the performance bar to help the organization scale new heights while leveraging human capital without geographical boundaries. He has an uncanny ability to identify and nurture the right talent, thereby consistently enriching Halcyon’s topnotch human capital. He mentors each dimension of Halcyon’s ecosystem in delivering tangible returns to our global customers from their relationship with Halcyon. Halcyon's development team has been repeatedly acknowledged for its innovative and path-breaking development and execution methodologies by its clientele.

Prior to co-founding Halcyon, Srinivas has worked in a variety of roles ranging from Enterprise Technical Architect to Senior Vice President managing teams spread over three continents with program budgets over $20M. He has over 16 years of experience in the IT industry and had worked in a consulting role with the likes of Deloitte and Accenture advising fortune 500 clients and C-level executives about Enterprise Application Integration, scoping, defining and managing large scale enterprise level projects to the likes of Constellation Energy, Burlington Northern Santa Fe, American Express, Citigroup and Blue Cross & Blue Shield. Srinivas played a key role in helping enterprises conceive and promote the idea of setting up Centers of Excellence, which would enable defining, and establishing development lifecycle methodologies and frameworks to be used across the enterprise.

Srinivas is an Electrical Engineer from Bangalore University, and also holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.

Beyond his day-to-day responsibilities, Srinivas enjoys playing racquetball and traveling.
