Mercy Erhiawarien is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management and fundraising. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Intensives at Halcyon since November 2021, Mercy has held various roles within the organization, including Intensives Manager and Program Coordinator. Previous experience includes managing the African Leadership Cohort at Results Canada and serving as a Project Coordinator at Laurel Consulting Group. Additional roles include Lead Fundraiser and Fellowship Program Manager at Adonai Partners Inc., Project & Research Consultant at CSR Communications, and Assistant Project Manager at the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. Mercy also contributed as a Mandela Washington Fellowship Evaluator with IREX and as a Mickey Leland International Hunger Fellow with ONE. Early career experiences include program outreach at the Executive Office of the Mayor and public policy assistance at Food for the Hungry, Inc. Mercy holds a Master of Philosophy in Public Policy from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Development Studies and Politics from Queen's University.
