Mihai Ionascu

Mihai Ionascu has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Mihai is currently working at Haldex as the Chief Engineer Systems, where they provide technical leadership for cross-functional systems activities, manages systems engineering team, and supports engineers from other disciplines. Prior to Haldex, they worked at Nippon Seiki (Europe) B.V. as the Principal System Engineer, managing a team of requirements and validation engineers and overseeing system requirements engineering according to industry standards. Mihai also has experience working as an ADAS Systems Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, as well as a Software Engineer at Continental. Earlier in their career, they worked at DATL SERV COM as an Electronics Mechanic and at Eleknis as a Software Engineer and Junior Hardware design Engineer. Mihai Ionascu started their professional journey as a Computer and Electronic Equipment Operator at Universitatea Tehnică a Moldovei.

Mihai Ionascu completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended the Polytechnic College from Chisinau, from 2004 to 2007, studying Automation and Computer Science, but did not earn a specific degree during that time. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained two certifications: "Applications of Everyday Leadership" and "Foundation of Everyday Leadership," both from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The former was obtained in January 2022, while the latter was obtained in December 2021.
