Sudipta Sarkar is a seasoned mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in maintenance management and engineering roles. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Mechanical Maintenance at Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd since June 2025, Sudipta previously worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer with Petroexcel Technology Services (P) Limited in Nigeria, focusing on FEED Engineering for offsite and utility sections at the PDH & PP unit. Sudipta's earlier role as Mechanical Engineering Manager at Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd involved overseeing maintenance operations in the Naphtha Cracker Unit, ensuring safety and reliability through effective maintenance practices and project supervision. Sudipta holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, completed in May 2012.
