Gwen Okamoto

Gwen has served as Chief Financial Officer of Hale Kipa since 2018. She has more than 25 years of experience as a CFO, most recently at the Hawaiian Humane Society. She previously served as the CFO and Controller at Pacific Resources for Education and Learning (PREL). Her background includes financial and risk analysis; corporate and project reporting and budgeting; cash and investment management; policy and procedure development; and contract and grant compliance. She worked in public accounting in California after graduating from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
