Rich Shuman, MBA, CMA

Rich Shuman, MBA, CMA has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Rich currently serves as the Director of the Advisory Board of Directors at Halen, offering financial, operational, and customer/brand-centric strategies for their user-friendly super app. Prior to this, Rich served as the Director on the Board of Directors at Asbury Communities, Inc., a nationally recognized leader in senior lifestyle opportunities. Rich also worked as an Advisor to Business Teams at Ap'ogee and held various leadership roles at Oakworks, Inc., including President, COO, CFO, and Chief Financial Officer. Rich has a background in finance and accounting, having served as the AVP Finance of Facility Services at Aramark Facility Services and as Vice President and Controller at CARPENTER TECHNOLOGY, INC. Rich also gained international experience as the Country CFO for Kellogg Company Pty LTD in Sydney, Australia. Rich has a strong track record of providing strategic guidance and financial oversight in organizations of various sizes and industries.

Rich Shuman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a double concentration in Accounting and Finance from Elizabethtown College from 1981 to 1984. Rich then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Saint Joseph's University in 1991. In terms of additional certifications, Rich Shuman obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Certified Management Accountant institution in January 1999. Rich also obtained the NACD certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors in December 2019.
