Milagros Gerena

Milagros Gerena began their work experience in 2014 as a Pharmaceutical Operator at Merck. In 2015, they transitioned to AbbVie as a Biologics Operator I. In 2017, they joined Regeneron as a Biotech Production Specialist and worked on various tasks related to biotech production activities until 2019. Milagros then served as a Biotech Production Compliance Coordinator II, handling investigations and building relationships with cross-functional teams. From 2020 to 2021, Milagros worked as a Biotech Production Compliance Coordinator III, focusing on change controls and CAPAs. In 2021, they became a Lead Manufacturing Document Associate III, responsible for coordinating document movement and providing leadership on the manufacturing floor. Milagros is currently employed at Haleon, starting in 2023 as a Quality Improvement Specialist, where they collaborate with leaders to evaluate quality systems and implement strategies for process improvement. Additionally, they work as the site training coordinator and leads the assembly of a Quality Control charter and action plan.

Milagros Gerena earned a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico in the years 2010 to 2014. Milagros then pursued a Master's degree in Regulatory Affairs at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences from 2019 to 2021.
