Ibrahim Öztoprak has a diverse range of work experience in the software development industry. ibrahim began their career in 2005 as an Embedded Software Developer at Promet, where they focused on developing Linux-based software for smart meters and gas analyzers. During their time there, they also worked on interface programs and participated in design and code reviews.
In 2007, Ibrahim joined TUBITAK as a Researcher, where they worked on software development projects involving cryptography, public key infrastructure, and digital signature. ibrahim was responsible for designing, developing, and testing software, and also participated in design reviews and bug fixes.
Ibrahim then moved to iSystems Global BV in 2011 as an Embedded Software Engineer. Here, they worked on firmware development for MCU based applications and fiscal metering projects. ibrahim also developed firmware and hardware for battery-powered gas metering devices and IoT-based Energy Meter Monitoring systems. Additionally, Ibrahim developed server-side applications based on industrial protocols and MQTT subscriber applications.
In 2020, Ibrahim joined Knowit as a Software Development Consultant, working on embedded software projects for Volvo Cars. ibrahim focused on the design, development, optimization, and validation of software for next-generation Android-based infotainment systems.
Most recently, Ibrahim began working at HaleyTek AB in 2022 as a Software Developer. ibrahim is part of a scaled agile team responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and verifying software for next-generation car infotainment systems. ibrahim performs requirement analysis, low-level design, implementation, and unit and functional testing. Ibrahim also participates in design and peer code reviews.
Ibrahim Öztoprak completed their undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, from 1998 to 2003. ibrahim acquired additional certifications such as "Machine Learning by Stanford University" through Coursera in December 2020, and "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2022.
