Alhely Villegas

Alhely Villegas has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2018, they worked as a Field Worker at La Limpia for a year, gaining hands-on experience in agricultural work. In 2019, they transitioned to a Laboratory Assistant role at South Plains College, where they supported laboratory operations for a year and three months. Alhely then joined Austin Bridge & Road in 2022 as a Project Intern, contributing to construction projects for three months. In 2020, they worked as a Fast Food Team Member at Chick-fil-A at RaiderPark/4th & Frankford for two years, where they provided efficient customer service in a fast-paced environment. Currently, they are employed at Halff as a Graduate Civil Engineer, starting in August 2023.

Alhely Villegas completed their education at different institutions and levels. Alhely started their academic journey in 2014 at Denver City High School, where they earned their Diploma of Education. Following their high school graduation, they enrolled at South Plains College in 2018 and successfully obtained an Associate of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2020. Currently, Alhely is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Texas Tech University, since 2020 and is expected to graduate in 2023.
