Maria Nelson

Maria Nelson has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Maria is currently working as a Strategic Marketing Manager at Halff Associates since February 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member at the City of San Antonio starting from June 2018. From August 2018 to May 2021, Maria was also a Board Member at the North East Educational Foundation. Maria held the position of Regional Marketing Manager at RS&H from October 2018 to January 2021. Before that, they worked as a Manager of Urban Planning at Centro San Antonio from July 2017 to June 2018. Maria started their career at Pape-Dawson Engineers in August 2012, initially as an Environmental Planner-Intern. Later, they became a Business Development Associate from January 2014 to July 2017. Overall, Maria's work experience showcases their expertise in marketing, management, and planning roles.

Maria Nelson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Texas Tech University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Maria then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from The University of Texas at San Antonio, completing their studies from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, in May 2014, Maria obtained a certification in "2.12.1 Socio-Economic & Environmental Justice Analyses" from the Texas Department of Transportation.
