Mark Harper

Mark Harper has over 25 years of experience in journalism, currently serving as the Political Editor at the Daytona Beach News-Journal since December 2000. In this role, Mark Harper plans, organizes, and edits election coverage while reporting on federal, state, and county politics in Volusia and Flagler counties. Prior to this position, Mark Harper held various roles, including Staff Writer for the Herald Palladium, Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, and LaPorte Herald-Argus, as well as Editor in Chief of The Ball State Daily News during their time at Ball State University, where Mark Harper earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.
