Andrea MacDonald

Andrea MacDonald, B.J. (Hons.), B.Ed., is a media-savvy professional with extensive experience in education and communications. Currently serving as a Teacher at Halifax Regional Centre for Education since September 2022, Andrea also operates as a Freelance Writer, Editor, and PR Consultant with Word House Communications since February 2014. Previous roles include Instructor at Nova Scotia Community College, where courses focused on Media Literacy, and Communications Advisor for the Office of the Minister of National Defence. Andrea's journalism background includes a tenure as Business Editor/Reporter at The Daily News, where a diverse range of topics was covered.
