Asif Faiz

Asif Faiz is a seasoned finance professional with a robust background in accounting and financial services. Currently serving as the Manager of Regional Accounting Services at Halifax Regional Centre for Education since October 2022, Asif previously held the position of Financial Services Officer 2 with the Government of Nova Scotia from March 2021 to October 2022. Asif's experience also includes working as a Financial Analyst at The Chronicle Herald and various roles at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, including Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager. Educational qualifications include a CMA and CGMA from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in London, a CMA from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, and a Bachelor of Commerce with honors from Delhi University. Additionally, Asif has pursued further certifications as a CPA - PEP Candidate with Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
