Theresa MacFadyen

Theresa MacFadyen, CPHR, is a seasoned human resources professional currently serving as the Human Resources Manager - Client Services at Halifax Regional Centre for Education since October 2023. Previously, Theresa held the role of HR Manager GSC at Clearwater Seafoods LP from May 2021 to October 2023, providing human resources leadership for land-based operations in North America. Theresa's experience also includes roles as a Labor Relations Specialist and Conflict Resolution Specialist with Halifax Regional Municipality, where responsibilities encompassed labor relations consultation and workplace conflict resolution. Earlier experience includes serving as the Manager of Human Resources at Northwood, focusing on labor and employee relations, and as an Associate in Employee Relations at Convergys. Theresa holds an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management from NSCC, a Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University, and several additional qualifications in leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
