Dean Bouchard has a diverse work experience. Dean started their career at Nortel where they held various roles such as Support Engineer, Verification Engineer, Manager/Team Leader for Product Verification, Manager for Customer Technology Trials, and Senior Manager for Global Service Strategy. In 2003, they joined Halifax Port Authority as the Director of Infrastructure, where they were responsible for planning, budgeting, and executing engineering and maintenance projects. In 2010, Dean joined Halifax International Airport Authority as the Director of Infrastructure, later transitioning to the role of Vice President for Airport Planning & Development.
Dean Bouchard pursued their education, focusing on engineering. From 1985 to 1987, they attended Saint Mary's University, where they obtained a Diploma in Engineering. Dean then furthered their studies at the Technical University of Nova Scotia from 1987 to 1990, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree with a specialization in Electrical Engineering.
