LAURA SMITH

Laura Smith is currently the Group Head of Events for the Watergate Bay and Another Place Hotels, where they manage and develop various events and brand partnerships. Previously, Laura served as the Head of Student Communications at the University of Birmingham, spearheading the university's first student communications strategy. Their diverse experience includes roles as a Marketing Communications Consultant, Brand Manager for ActionAid, and Head of Communications for the Birmingham Hippodrome, among others. Laura's expertise spans brand management, events programming, stakeholder engagement, and marketing campaigns across multiple sectors. They also contribute as a Board Trustee for Hall for Cornwall, focusing on communications and marketing strategies.
