Ramona E. Romero

Ramona E Romero serves as a Trustee on the Board at TIAA since January 2023 and is an active member of the Presidential Commission on White House Fellowships, appointed in June 2021. Romero has held the position of Vice President and General Counsel at Princeton University since December 2014, overseeing legal matters for a prestigious institution. Previously, Romero served as General Counsel for the USDA from 2011 to October 2014 and was employed at DuPont from 1998 to 2011 in various legal roles, including Corporate Counsel and Senior Counsel. Additionally, Romero was the General Counsel for Sentinel Transportation LLC from 2008 to 2010 and held the title of National President for the Hispanic National Bar Association from 2008 to 2009, advocating for Latino legal professionals. An alumna of Harvard Law School and Barnard College, Romero has extensive experience in law, particularly in corporate counsel, litigation, and public service.
