During law school, Patrick was a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Daniel Joseph Lynch in the Circuit Court of Cook County. He also worked as a student attorney with a 711 license for the Community Preservation Clinic, an organization representing struggling homeowners facing foreclosure.
Patrick was an Articles Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review. He received CALI Awards for Legal Writing & Analysis and Real Estate Transactions and served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing & Analysis.
