Karen Gifford

Karen Gifford's work experience includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Hall Render since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Vedder Price from 2015 to 2021 as the Controller/Senior Manager of Finance Operations, where they managed a team of professionals and handled financial reporting, audits, and tax engagements. Karen also served as the Director of Finance at Meckler Bulger Tilson Marick & Pearson LLP from 2014 to 2015, overseeing various finance functions. Before that, they worked at Dentons as the US Director of Accounting/Controller from 2000 to 2014, and at Equity Office Properties as the Director of Application Support from 1996 to 2000. Karen earned a BS degree in Accounting/Business Administration and also obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Accounting and Business/Management from the same institution. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Illinois, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
