Melanie James currently serves as the People & Culture Manager for Hall & Wilcox, overseeing operations across the Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, and Brisbane offices since October 2015. Prior to this role, Melanie held positions as Senior People & Culture Advisor at Sparke Helmore Lawyers from January 2010 to October 2015, where responsibilities included providing commercial people solutions for the national Insurance group, and as HR Consultant focusing on the Perth, Adelaide, and Canberra offices. Earlier experience includes working as an HR Advisor at Bauer Media from August 2007 to December 2009, managing HR functions across various divisions, and as HR/Business Administrator for the Sytner Group, primarily within the BMW division from September 2003 to August 2007. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Griffith University and completed high school at Somerset College.
