Alejandra I Lopez Trosell

Alejandra I Lopez Trosell, Ph.D., currently serves as an R&D Advisor Chemist at Halliburton, where leadership has led to the development of an innovative device that combines high-throughput capabilities with computer vision models for studying emulsified systems. With prior experience as a Research Scientist III at Boral, responsibilities included new product development and technical support for manufacturing scale-up. Lopez Trosell has a strong background in corrosion analysis, evidenced by work at Vecor Pipeline Integrity, where compliance with DOT regulations was achieved for over 34,195 feet of pipelines. As Technical Director of R&D at Vernus Group Corp., coordination of laboratory efforts resulted in successful chemical solutions for flow assurance. Earlier experience at PDVSA involved developing a patented electro-gasification process. Educationally, Lopez Trosell holds a Doctorate in Physical Chemistry from Technische Universität Berlin and a degree in chemistry from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
