Gregory Dayao

Gregory Dayao is an Associate R&D Mechanical Engineer at Halliburton, specializing in customizable engineering solutions for flow control devices and monitoring equipment. Previous roles include President of HYPED, where leadership encompassed overseeing over 150 student society members and multiple teams, and various positions in HYPED such as Treasurer, Secretary, and Test Track Project Manager, notably leading the design and development of the UK's first Hyperloop test track. Additional experience includes an Industrial Placement Internship at TTP plc focusing on mechanical engineering for autonomous technologies, a Summer Internship at the same company, and a Research Engineer role at FASTBLADE, a pioneering fatigue testing facility. Early experience includes coordinating educational activities for the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Gregory holds an MEng Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.
