Mike Hough

Mike Hough is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in human resources management across multinational companies. Currently serving as the Regional HRD Manager for Europe and Sub Saharan Africa at Halliburton since December 2009, Mike is responsible for training and development, management development, succession planning, and nationalisation processes in the region. Prior to this role, Mike held various HR positions at BHP Billiton Petroleum from October 2001 to October 2009, focusing on developing start-ups in Algeria and working in Pakistan. Mike began a career in HR at ExxonMobil, where from October 1987 to September 2001, several roles included recruitment, employee relations, industrial relations, and significant change management initiatives. Mike holds a Fellowship from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a BA (Hons) in English from Durham University.
