Robert Gales

Robert Gales is a seasoned geoscientist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Chief Geoscientist at Halliburton since December 2019, leading a team of subject matter experts to address global formation evaluation and production challenges. Prior to Halliburton, Gales held the position of Chief Petrophysicist at California Resources Corporation and Oxy, where responsibilities included mentoring junior professionals and supporting reservoir management teams. Gales has also contributed to unconventional resource projects as VP at Weatherford and has held various leadership roles at Nutech Energy Alliance and Precision Energy Services. With a strong academic foundation in Math and Physics from South Dakota State University and further education from Purdue University and Kansas State University, Robert Gales brings a wealth of knowledge in subsurface data integration and innovative solutions to the industry's challenges.
