Stephen Torgerson

Stephen Torgerson is currently serving as a Principal Technical Advisor for Halliburton in the Gulf of Mexico since December 2023. Prior to this role, Torgerson held various positions at Schlumberger from April 2006 to August 2023, including Ora Service Quality Engineer, Remote Operations Product Service Delivery Manager for North America, and Remote Operations Engineer - Houston Team Lead. Torgerson has extensive experience in managing remote operations teams, improving asset performance, and enhancing service delivery reliability. Notable achievements include coordinating global wireline operations for Anadarko and performing high-profile deepwater wireline operations. Torgerson's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Helena College of Technology.
