Tyler Straessle

Tyler Straessle is a seasoned TV writer currently working for Hallmark Media since January 2019, creating original movies for the Hallmark Channel. Notable works include "The Gift of Peace," "To Her, With Love," "Welcome To Mama's," "Sweet Autumn," and "Forever in My Heart." In addition to writing, Tyler serves as a lecturer at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts starting August 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an ad writer for various projects, coverage writer at Author Solutions, script coordinator and writer for NBCUniversal's "The Good Place," and assistant positions at Nickelodeon, Netflix, The Walt Disney Company, and Showtime Networks. A graduate of Ball State University with a degree in Telecommunications, Tyler has cultivated a diverse skill set in the television and film industry since 2011.
