Alex Roan

Alex Roan has a diverse range of work experience. They started their career as an Office Assistant at Walters, Bender, Strohbehn, & Vaughan PC in 2009. From 2011 to 2012, Alex worked as a Counselor at Kanakuk Kamps. They then gained experience as an Intern at Flory Design in 2012 and as a Graphic Designer at The Fashion Column from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, Alex worked as an Art Director Design Intern at Osborn Barr. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Hallmark Cards as an Innovation Leader, where they developed products, managed social media and e-commerce, and led website development. Alex then progressed to roles at Hallmark Cards as an Associate Product Designer from 2016 to 2019, a Senior Designer from 2019 to 2021, and finally as an Associate Studio Art Director from 2021 to 2023. Since August 2023, Alex has been working as a Studio Art Director at Hallmark Cards.

Alex Roan attended The University of Kansas from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Visual Communications with a focus on Graphic Design. Additionally, they received a Certificate of Service Learning from the same institution, although the specific date of attainment is not provided.
