J. R. Cook

J.R. Cook has a diverse work experience, starting in 2004 as a System Administrator/Web Developer at Dedicated Busniess Services. From there, they worked at Lagarde, Inc. as a Support Engineer II, providing analysis and support for bugs and assisting customers with storefront issues. J. R. also worked as a Managing Editor at Stratics, Inc., managing a website dedicated to the MMO game World of Warcraft. In 2007, they became a Development Advisor at iModules Software before joining VeriShip as a Software Engineer, where they developed software for automating refund claims and reducing shipping expenses. J.R. Cook then co-founded Blizz Pro, a Blizzard Entertainment fansite, and currently manages a staff of 25. J. R. is currently employed at Hallmark Cards as a Lead Software Engineer, where they have held various roles including Senior Developer/Analyst and Software Development Consultant. Their responsibilities at Hallmark Cards have included building enterprise level APIs, developing web applications, and using Agile methodologies for project management.

J. R. Cook graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interactive Digital Media.
