Laura Ballard is a designer, illustrator, and lettering artist based in Kansas City. They began their creative journey with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design and later earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Graphic Design from Johnson County Community College. With experience as a Sales Associate and Supervisor at Paint, Glaze & Fire Ceramics and Coffee House, and in retail at Paper Source, Laura gained skills in customer interaction and event management. They worked as an intern at Blacktop Creative and C3 | Creative Consumer Concepts before becoming a Senior Designer at Hallmark Cards, where they continue to thrive in the creative field.
