Maureen Sullivan

Maureen Sullivan serves as the Editorial Director at Hallmark Cards, where responsibilities include creating and executing editorial strategies for various holidays and introducing trend-inspired solutions for customers since April 2018. Prior to this role, Maureen was the Senior Editor and Acting Editorial Director for Shoebox and Good Mail season cards at Go Ask Mo from January 2012 to August 2020, and also founded a college preparatory firm specializing in guiding students through the college essay-writing process. Earlier experience includes positions such as Copy Chief at Andrews McMeel Publishing, writer and editor for The Cosgrove Group, contributing writer at The Kansas City Star, and roles at Slate Magazine and Stateline.org. Maureen holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Santa Clara University.
