He subsequently was with Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP for more than thirteen years, where he devoted much of his time to defending auditors in civil litigation and SEC enforcement actions. He also had a leading role in resolving more than $60 billion of claims filed by domestic and foreign affiliates in the liquidation of Lehman Brothers Inc., the U.S. broker-dealer.

Mr. Greilsheimer is currently studying Spanish and has frequently represented clients where much of the documentary evidence is in Spanish. He also chairs the Town of North Hempstead Community Development Agency which is responsible for urban renewal projects and anti-poverty efforts on the north shore of Long Island.
