Vijay Kumar Thakur has worked for several companies since 1994. Vijay Kumar began their career as a Programmer for Infomatics, then moved on to System Executive for PGF LIMITED in 1998. In 2000, they became Asstt. Manager IT for PARLE. In 2008, they were promoted to Dy Manager IT for UNO MINDA, NK Minda Group. In 2009, they were appointed Head IT for Great Food and Beverage UK. In 2011, they became AGM IT for Orient Bell Limited. Since 2016, they have been Director of IT and Manager IT for Halo Collective Inc.

Vijay Kumar Thakur holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Himachal Pradesh University in the field of Information Technology, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Guru Jambheshwar University in the field of IT. Vijay Kumar also holds certifications in Preventing Workplace Harassment (Supervisor Advanced) from Inspired eLearning, LLC. (obtained in December 2019), ITIL from APMG-International (obtained in August 2015), and Oracle 8i DBA from SQL Star International.
