Halo House Foundation
Halo House is a non-profit organization serving all ages with blood cancers by providing fully-furnished temporary housing, at a very low cost, to people undergoing treatment for a blood cancer (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma) at the Texas Medical Center. This is done by providing apartments near the Texas Medical Center for $25 per day where a patient who lives more than 50 miles from TMC can stay for two weeks to four months while receiving active treatment. To date, Halo House has served over 1000 families and provided over 70,000 days of temporary housing.
