Charlotte Nedir Costard

Charlotte NEDIR COSTARD has extensive work experience in various roles. Charlotte currently serves as the Head of Operations - Halo MEA at Halo Investing, a financial technology company. In this role, they are responsible for creating and incorporating the UAE subsidiary, setting up administrative, legal, HR, office, and IT systems, and managing providers and partners. Prior to this, Charlotte worked as the Lead of Operations, UAE Specialist at Halo Investing, where they were the first employee of the UAE subsidiary and played a crucial role in establishing the company's presence in the region.

Before joining Halo Investing, Charlotte worked at GMG Brokers Dubai as the Chief Risk Officer, EM OTC Derivatives. In this role, they focused on governance and statutory compliance, regulatory compliance, and the application process for the Financial Conduct Authority.

Prior to GMG Brokers Dubai, Charlotte gained valuable experience at ODDO BHF. Charlotte served as the Chief Operating Officer of Cash Equity brokerage, where they were responsible for improving productivity and implementing compliance and legal matters. Charlotte also worked as a Finance Officer in the Corporate Finance division and as an Operations Manager for ETD/Forex/SL & Equity brokerage. Charlotte also participated in a high-potential program at ODDO BHF.

Before joining ODDO BHF, Charlotte worked as a Quality Project Manager for Custody and Depository Services, a Senior Auditor and Team Leader in the Group Internal Audit Department, and as a Junior Auditor. Charlotte was recognized for their work in the ODDO Innovation Contest, where their team's project to digitalize Life Insurance subscriptions was awarded 2nd place.

Charlotte began their career at IBM as an Internal Control Officer, where they gained experience in banking regulatory environments and assisted with audit action plan implementation.

Charlotte NEDIR COSTARD completed their Baccalauréat S in 2004. In 2007, they spent a semester at Ryerson University as part of an exchange program, focusing on Finance. In 2022, Charlotte NEDIR COSTARD obtained an International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association.
