Jamie Cawthorne BSc(Hons) has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Before their time as an Avionics Supervisor, Jamie worked as a Supervisor in a second line Air Electrical Bay environment supporting the Harrier fleet of aircraft from September 2004 to March 2007. In this role, they conducted fault diagnosis and rectification on high-value aircraft systems using specialized test equipment.

Jamie's career first began in the Royal Air Force (RAF) as an Aircraft Electrical Technician from 2000 to 2004. Jamie started as an Aircraft Electrical Mechanic from 1998 to 1999.

Prior to joining the Royal Air Force (RAF), Jamie worked as a Draughtsman at Joynes Pike & Associates from November 1995 to October 1996.

Jamie Cawthorne BSc(Hons) has a diverse education history. In 2001, they began studying at West Notts College of FE, where they obtained an HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering in 2004. After a gap in education, they enrolled at the University of Lincoln and completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Engineering Management in 2013.
