Christian Carlberg

Christian Carlberg is a highly experienced mechanical design engineer with a robust background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer at 1X, Christian previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Meta, where responsibilities included prototyping autonomous mobile platforms for data centers. At FarmWise, as a Staff Mechanical Engineer, Christian led the design of the next-generation LED/Camera Box for the vision weeding system. Christian's notable roles also include Head of Mechanical Engineering at Bossa Nova Robotics, managing the development of a second-generation shelf-scanning robot, and serving as Lead Mechanical Engineer at Suitable Technologies, focusing on the production design of the BEAM Pro1 unit. In addition to experiences at HexBright, Lezyne, the United States Air Force, Xcelaero Corporation, and Applied Minds, Christian possesses degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
