Christopher Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Christopher is currently working at 1X as the Vice President of Production Engineering, a role they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Application Engineer at 1X from April 2021 to August 2022.

Christopher Thomas has an educational background in computer software engineering, embedded electronics engineering, and micro robotics. In 2020, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Western Governors University. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Embedded Electronics Engineering at Minot State University. Christopher also holds an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Micro Robotics from Tarrant County College.

In addition to their formal education, Christopher has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they received the FANUC Robotics 2D and 3D Vision Certification as well as the FANUC Robotics Material Handling Certification from FANUC America Corporation.
