Shashank El

Shashank EL is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Halodoc since April 2019, Shashank began by leading backend platforms and successfully scaled the team by onboarding additional leaders. Previously, as Co-Founder and Head of Engineering at Prion Technologies, Shashank played a pivotal role in establishing the startup focused on rapid prototyping and chatbot development, overseeing various operational aspects including hiring and MVP delivery. Prior experience includes a Solutions Architect role at Cisco, where Shashank developed and launched the Cisco Patient Connect across multiple platforms for major U.S. hospitals, and holding positions as Senior Architect at Happiest Minds Technologies and Technical Lead at MindTree, where contributions spanned international projects for Unilever and Burger King. Shashank holds two Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from PES Institute of Technology and Visvesvaraya Technological University.
