David Norton

David Norton is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in software engineering and research. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Halosight since July 2019, David previously worked at Qualtrics where notable contributions included developing a tool for live survey response analysis and creating a Lucene-based solution for natural language processing. David holds a PhD in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, where prior roles included research assistant positions focusing on digital art generation and zoology. Additional experience includes teaching discrete mathematics and programming for a Nintendo DS title. David's academic background encompasses both a Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology.
