Aubrey Haddach

Executive Director, Intellectual Property at Halozyme Therapeutics

Aubrey Haddach has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field, with a focus on intellectual property and corporate transactions. In 2003, they started as a Patent Law Clerk at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP and later moved to Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as an Associate. Aubrey then worked as a Senior Counsel-Contractor at PROCOPIO, CORY, HARGREAVES & SAVITCH LLP, providing support to technology companies. Aubrey joined Venable LLP in 2015 as an Associate Patent Attorney, managing global patent portfolios for clients in the life sciences sector.

In 2017, they became Of Counsel at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, where they advised clients on intellectual property and corporate transactions, negotiating and drafting complex agreements. Aubrey co-founded BIOmnia Law, a legal start-up, in 2023, which offers tailored IP strategies for life science companies. Aubrey also served as the Executive Director of Intellectual Property at Halozyme, Inc. in the same year. Throughout their career, Aubrey held various roles in reputable companies such as RayzeBio, Ansun Biopharma, and Progenity, where they served as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, Privacy Officer, and Patent Attorney, specializing in licensing and transactions.

Aubrey Haddach pursued their education with a focus on law and chemistry. From 2000 to 2004, they attended the University of San Diego School of Law, where they earned their JD degree. Prior to that, they studied at UC San Diego from 1994 to 1999, completing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
