Blake Ortiz

Blake Ortiz has over 15 years of experience in corporate accounting and finance. They started their career as an Assurance Manager at PwC in 2007 and worked there until 2014. At Viasat Inc., Blake held roles as Manager of Corporate Accounting from 2014 to 2018 and then as Senior Manager from 2018 to 2019. Since 2019, Blake has been working at Halozyme, Inc. in various positions, including Director of Accounting and Assistant Controller, Senior Director of Corporate Controller, Executive Director of Corporate Controller, and currently Vice President of Corporate Controller.

Blake Ortiz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The College of New Jersey, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Blake has acquired additional certifications in Operational Excellence Foundations, Project Management Foundations: Teams, and Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn in May 2023.
