Sean Moro

Sean Moro, PhD, CMPP, currently serves as the Director of Medical Communications & Publications at Halozyme, Inc. since March 2025. Previously, Sean held multiple roles at Orchard Therapeutics, including Director, Associate Director, and Senior Manager of Medical Communications from November 2018 to March 2025. Sean's experience also includes a position as Scientific Communications Associate Manager at Avanir Pharmaceuticals and Scientific Communications Specialist at Allergan. Prior to industry experience, Sean was a Graduate Student Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant at UC Irvine, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology was earned. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Brandeis University and has worked in various roles including Global Product Safety & Surveillance Coordinator at Bausch + Lomb and Document Control Specialist at Exiqon.
